417 Bike Park was born in May 2010 by husband and wife team Simon and Angela Ruskin. The exciting concept came about when Simon was an avid DH rider returning from a mountain biking holiday in France. Like many, he lives a busy life and is tired of spending the majority of his precious riding days pushing instead of riding. They launched their first lift at the Cannop Bike Center in Dean Woods, helping put the Bike Center firmly on the DH map! In 2013 the opportunity arose to purchase and develop a 100 acre farm in Crickley Hill, Gloucestershire. 417 Bike Park is the largest privately owned mountain bike facility in England, offering a variety of training rides in one venue.
