The goal of Crealde School of Art is to foster a lifetime appreciation of the arts and to ignite each person's innate creative process through practical visual arts instruction. This goal is achieved through in-depth studio art instruction, interaction with working professionals, gallery exhibitions, lectures, related art activities, a comprehensive outreach program for seniors, at-risk minority youth, people with disabilities, and people in general, as well as fostering cultural diversity, pluralism awareness, and the preservation of their cultural heritage. In Winter Park, Florida, there is a nonprofit community arts organization called Crealde School of Art School of Art. Everyone in Central Florida have had access to Crealdé's community-based, hands-on arts activities since 1975. Crealdé opened the Hannibal Square Heritage Center in 2007 as a result of a collaboration with the City of Winter Park, which increased their ability to carry out their aim of making the arts accessible to everyone. At their two Winter Park facilities, they provide more than 125 visual arts workshops and humanities-based programs.
