About Dan'S Fan City

Dan'S Fan City began in 1979 and was founded by Dan Hebron and his partner, Georgia Wood, in Clearwater, Florida. In many trips from his home state of Michigan, he noticed that people are increasingly concerned about ceiling fans being used to help home cool down and cope with energy crises. The first hotel in Clearwater, Florida, opened one day after Thanksgiving and is still in operation today. Within four months, it is necessary to open a second surgical site in Seminole, Florida, which is still under operation. Dan'S Fan City continues to grow today, currently operating 44 stores in seven states and shipping products nationwide through online channels. It was one of the first companies to supply ceiling fans to U.S. retailers. The ceiling fan parts were supplied by Taiwan and assembled and packaged in the United States.
