Dramatic Publishing accepts all types of original full-length, single-screen and 10-minute plays. It will accept and consider unsolicited script manuscripts, but must meet one of the following conditions: the store has published one or more of the author's works. The author has one or more works published by another major authority. The author is represented by a qualified theatre or literary agent. In the past five years, this work has at least two independent, fully staged equity or amateur works. Dramatic Publishing will no longer consider any unsolicited musicals, as well as adaptations from Christmas carols, classic fairy tales, folk tales or Shakespeare's work. Due to the large number of scripts they receive, the current response time can be as long as six months.
