Pappa Leo's Pizza is locally owned and operated by two brothers, aged 18 and 20, who first opened in Pitt Meadows in May 2003. They have now expanded to seven sites in the lower continental plains. Their father, Leo, helped build the first site and continues to build new ones. So the brothers decided to name Pappa Leo's Pizza after their father. With their excellent homemade dough recipes, the brothers then went on to sample and look for the best flavors and freshest ingredients, with an eye toward quality as opposed to cost. They soon became so busy that they had to hire two lifelong friends and run the store in groups of four for the first few years.
