TECO Technology began as transmission engineering in san francisco in 1937. The company was well known at the time as a supplier of clutches, brake components, and gear reducers. After twenty years, Transmission Designing began to circulate pneumatic parts. Their sole focus became the distribution of fluid power components as they grew. In 1976 they changed their name to TECO Technology pneumatic to stay away from disarray with transmission items. They bought their central command in Pleasanton, CA in 1991. They purchased a second facility in Reno, Nevada, in 2008. In 2011, they added a third warehouse in tualatin, Oregon, so that they could provide better service to their customers in the pacific northwest. To better serve their expanding customer base, they decided to move their reno, nevada facility to fresno, california, in 2020.
