Daniel Lui moved to Vancouver, Canada from Hong Kong in 1997. Since he was a teenager, The Chinese Tea Shop has studied Chinese tea extensively. His father, Ken Lui, who is also a big fan, first got him interested in the subject. Daniel was always interested in learning more about Chinese culture and tea from friends at parties and local markets.
