They were initially influenced by the frantic pace and eclectic culture of the hospitality industry, but soon realized they were most drawn to its beating heart: caffeine. A relationship with espresso started when they saw the cutting edge espresso consumer was developing. Customers were no longer content with a quick fix of caffeine; rather, they were more picky about what they preferred and were interested in the origin of the coffee and its flavor. As a result, it became their mission to consistently produce high-quality, ethical, and sustainable coffee. Like any popular band, they began in a carport; Three Pence Roasters was born in 2017 after roasting coffee in Anthony's garage in Cronulla, Sydney, in 2014. They are pleased to now supply coffee to numerous Australian offices, homes, cafes, and restaurants. If they do say so themselves, their brand is now well-known and beloved by many people.
